STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES

At the Institute of Business and Management (Victoria), our aim is to ensure you fully benefit from your experience in Melbourne. We are dedicated to supporting you not only in your academic pursuits but also in your overall wellbeing and experiences beyond the campus.

Our committed staff members are eager to assist you with your studies, assessments, accommodation, and any other concerns you may have.

  • Payment of fees, other charges
  • Processing of enrolments
  • Orientation
  • Refunds
  • Enrolment and re-enrolment enquiries
  • Student records, including assessment and course completion information
  • Accepting student requests for documentations, Students Cards, letters, statement of results, etc.
  • Processing credit transfers and RPL
  • Receiving student’s complaints and appeals
  • Processing deferment, suspension and student-initiated cancellation of studies

STUDENT WELFARE STAFF

For other matters, Institute of Business and Management (Victoria) has a dedicated team of student support staff and a student welfare officer to look after the student needs. Student may seek the following services:

  • Information about transport, accommodation, public services, life in Melbourne.
  • Career advice.
  • Resume preparation
  • Student extracurricular activities.
  • Medical care and health insurance.
  • Personal matter consultation.
  • Rights and responsibilities of international students.
  • General information and enquiries.

CRITICAL INCIDENT OR EMERGENCY

Institute of Business and Management (Victoria) has a designated staff member who our students can contact in case of a critical incident or emergency.

Students should contact them if you find yourself in critical incidents or emergencies, which include but are not limited to:

  • Medical emergencies involving a student
  • Critical illness of a student.
  • Sexual Assault
  • Mental Health Crisis
  • Drug / Alcohol Overdose
  • Campus Disturbance / Riot
  • Fire / Explosion with Injuries or Significant Damage
  • Natural Disasters (in Australia and overseas)
  • Airplane Crashes
  • International Hostage Situations/ Kidnappings
  • National Emergencies
  • Hate/Bias
